Waterloo Physiotherapy

It happens to all of us.

We all experience injuries at one time or another. It could be from playing sports, working out work or just getting older and not being in the shape we once were. Physiotherapy can help get you back into the game.

Physiotherapy restores the patient’s natural range of movement and function. Guided exercises increase strength, manage pain and reduce stiffness. The patient will regain balance, control and coordination of the patient’s movements. Exercise is medicine, and there will be a focus on learning the correct principles and techniques. Ongoing coaching, as well as shared goals, will set the patient up for long-term results.

Applicable conditions include but are not limited to sports injuries, neck and lower back pain, arthritis, sciatica, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, Parkinson’s Disease, orthopedic injury, post-op, joint replacement and more.

Do I need to have a doctors referral?

No, while it is common for doctors to refer to physiotherapy, physiotherapists are primary health care practitioners therefore referrals are not required (some insurance may require a referral from your doctor, please check with your provider).
